Extreme Voices is a study on extreme voices conducted in 2011 by Michele Broglia, the phoniatric expert Dr. Franco Fussi and "Gruppo di Studio Multidisciplinare sulla Voce Artistica" (Multidisciplinary Study Group on Artistic Voice) of the Master A. Saorin Martinez and of the phoniatric expert Dr. Fiorenza Derosas. Some singers of the Italian metal scene offered as subject of study Alcuni cantanti della scena metal italiana si sono offerti come soggetto di studio to understand technical operation of their voices.

The results of this study were exposed at the international conference “La Voce artistica 2011”. From this study the working group prepared a teaching method regarding this type of song, it's already helping many extreme singers in Italy.
