La Figlia dell’Incendiario born as an instrumental trio in 2006 from the will to Marco, Giampaolo and Alberto, as continuation of a musical experience started in 2003. In 2007 Stefano join the band as soloist guitar, and Marco pass to singing. In 2008 the band reach the “Rock Targato Italia” final phase in the north-east Italy and in the same year they take part with good results in “Suonica live”. In 2009 start the negotiations with SG Records to publish the first full length, but they were hampered by some LFDI internal problems, that cause Marco to leave the band. The microphone pass to Luca, that also takes the Marco’s place at the keyboards. The album “La Figlia dell’Incendiario” was finally published in 2010. The musical genre proposed by La Figlia dell’Incendiario is difficulty sortable, the lyrics are in Italian, visionary, powerful and “multi meaningful”. They tell episodes of lived life, feelings and sensations, are inspired by literature, by arts, and the narrative results are highly imaginative and dreamlike stories, dreams, sometimes nightmares. The music is a rock that often sounds dark. For La Figlia dell’Incendiario music is to lyrics as color is to a sketched picture. The final result is a noir story, steeped in suspense and mysticism, pressing, an anxiety-inducing travel to the unknown, scanned by a refined run of words and sounds that at second or third hearing reveal a second of third meaning of the song.
